Hello everyone! Anna here....I want to share with you that Tim's grandmother passed away unexpectantly this past Thursday. Tim is very close to her, as she was the one who raised him through his teenage years. The store will be closed on Tuesday due to this death in our family. Thanks for your support and please keep us in your prayers.

Totally unrelated, we have been struggling with the effects of staying open so late on a Tuesdays. We have thought a lot about this, and we have decided that in our best interest, and what is best for our family is that we make some changes. One of the first things we are going to be changing is Tuesday's hours. Beginning Tuesday, April 16th our hours will be 11:00-8:00pm. This will not affect Pokémon League as it ends at 8 anyway. We spend an enormous amount of time at the store and it is taking its toll on our family. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope you all understand.

The Gatecrash Prerelease is Upon Us

Six events over two days! That's a LOT of Magic! Players will need to pre-register for these events.

Doors open at 8:30am

You will choose one of five guilds for each event. Orzhov, Dimir, Gruul, Boros, or Simic.

You may not choose the same guild more than once. (unless you play in all six events)

With your guild selection you will get a Guild Prerelease Pack, which will contain five Gatecrash booster packs, one booster pack from your specific guild, an achievement card, a spindown live counter, a letter from your guildmaster, a guild sticker, and an alternate-art foil prerelease card.
You will be able to play your prerelease card in your deck.

You can find amazing cards like Spellbook of the Master, Mermail Abysstrite or Gagagadraw to power up your Decks.

Friday Night Magic will be undergoing a small change at the Dugout.

FNM is and will always be dominated by Standard and we have no intention of changing that.

We do think offering format options beyond Standard will be a great addition.

So, starting Friday Nov 16th there will be two tournament options for Friday Night Magic.

Tentative schedule is as follows

Nov 16th Standard or Modern

Nov 23rd Standard or Draft

The Standard tournament must fill before we sign anyone up for the alternative.

Both events will start @ 7:00.

Sundays will also start using this format Nov 25th

Also, Nov 17th @ 2:00 we are having a Legacy tournament and a Cardfight Vanguard Tournament.

We are going to teach anyone interested how to play Vanguard.

We will have some tutorial decks that we will use and give away.
